Defender has sparked interest among Serie A and Primera Liga clubs

Lyon are open to the idea of selling Dejan Lovren, reveals the defender's agent Nikky Vuksan. Lovren's current contract with the French giants expires in June 2014 and his impressive performances at centre-back in Ligue 1 since joining OL from Dinamo Zagreb in 2010 have attracted the attention of several European clubs. Lyon are currently going through some tough financial situation and could be forced to sell the 22-year-old, whose agent discloses that Italian and Spanish clubs have made enquiries about him. "I know that many European clubs, including a few Italian and Spanish teams, have made enquiries about the player but so far none of them has made concrete steps or submitted bids," Vuksan told Calciomercato.it. "Lyon are going through a difficult time from a financial point, but we're also talking about renewal. "I think that if we were to get a good offer, then the club would evaluate it. When asked if Italian giants Inter Milan and AC Milan are interested in the Croatia international, Vuksan remarked: "It would be an honour for us, but at the moment we are only talking about hypothesis."
