Reds open at Baggies, before taking in tricky home tests

Brendan Rodgers faces a daunting start to life at Anfield as Liverpool face last season's top three in their first three home games. Champions Manchester City visit on 25th August, a week after the season begins with a trip to West Brom - now managed by former Liverpool coach Steve Clarke. And a home game against Arsenal on 1st September is followed three weeks later by the first of the season's grudge matches against Manchester United. The campaign's first Merseyside derby is at Everton on 27th October, and Rodgers goes back to Swansea on 24th November. The Reds go to Stoke on Boxing Day and January brings trips to Old Trafford and the Emirates followed, at the start of February, with an away game at City. The season ends with the home derby followed by a visit to Fulham and a return to Anfield for a final-day game against QPR. Click here for Liverpool's fixtures.
