Brazil coach Dunga has called up Dodo and Mario Fernandes for his side's friendly matches against Argentina and Japan next month.

Inter Milan's Dodo, 22, operates on the left while Fernandes, 23, is a right-back for CSKA Moscow who can also play in the centre of defence.

The duo replace Real Madrid's Marcelo and Roma's Maicon as Dunga's post-World Cup rebuilding plans gather pace.

Robinho has also been added to the squad after the striker had been left out for friendlies against Colombia and Ecuador earlier this month.

We are at the start of our work so we need to build a base and a continuity.

"We are at the start of our work so we need to build a base and a continuity," Dunga told reporters. "We can't keep changing. You need to give security to the players who are called up so they feel at home."

Five-time world champions Brazil will play the match dubbed as the Superclassic of the Americas against Argentina on October 11 at the Bird's Nest in Beijing before facing Japan three days later in Singapore.

"It is a derby and anything can happen in a derby," Dunga said of the Argentina match. "They have been together a long time but we have good players and it will be an open game."

The matches in Asia will mark Brazil's third and fourth matches since Dunga's return to the helm of the national team after a disappointing World Cup under Luiz Felipe Scolari on home soil.

Brazil beat Colombia 1-0 and Ecuador by the same score earlier this month in the United States.
