St Johnstone have suffered a blow after midfielder Chris Millar injured his groin and is set to be out for up to three weeks.
The 28-year-old incurred the problem in a practice match at McDiarmid Park on Friday and may not return before September's international break.
Millar, who joined Saints from Morton in 2008, had been involved in both of the club's opening two games of the new SPL season.
"It is bad news for Chris and for the team," Saints manager Derek McInnes told the club's official website.
"But hopefully with the right treatment and rest it will not prove to be an extended absence."
