Image: Paddy Kenny: Impressive form for Leeds

Sky Sports casts an eye over the leading performers from the latest round of Championship action.

Team of the week

Paddy Kenny - Leeds United
According to Neil Warnock, Kenny isn't just the best 'keeper in the Championship, he is the best in England. Kenny has lived up to his manager's billing in recent games as he restricted Crystal Palace in a 2-1 win and kept a clean sheet in the 1-0 victory over Leicester, making some outstanding saves in the process.
Sam Byram - Leeds United
Leeds' young talent has impressed in the Championship this week. He picked up the Man of the Match award against table-toppers Crystal Palace at the weekend and won the Whites a decisive penalty against Leicester on Tuesday. Byram was a constant threat going forward.
Danny Shittu - Millwall
Shittu has played an integral part in a Millwall defence that has conceded just one in the last four games, keeping three clean sheets in the process. Shittu helped shut out Blackburn at Ewood Park at the weekend and Wolves at Molineux during midweek.
Shane Lowry - Millwall
Lowry impressed at the back alongside Shittu in Millwall's 2-0 win at Blackburn and in their 1-0 victory away at Wolves. He has been an ever-present in defence during the South London club's three straight clean sheets against the big boys of the Championship.
Jerome Thomas - Leeds United
One of Warnock's loan deadline day signings has added a much-needed threat going forward for Leeds. He has impressed since joining from West Brom and has drastically changed the way Leeds play. Thomas is able to provide Luciano Becchio the service he has craved.
Dean Marney - Burnley
The 28-year-old scored in the 1-0 victory away at Hull City during midweek and was a rock in the heart of midfield as Burnley withstood constant Tigers pressure to come away from the KC Stadium with all three points.
Dean Hammond - Brighton
Hammond has impressed since re-joining his boyhood club on a season-long loan from Southampton. He scored his first goal of the season against Bristol City and helped Brighton's defence record only their second clean sheet in eight games as they won 2-0.
James Henry - Millwall
Henry scored in the 90th minute to seal a 2-0 win over Blackburn at Ewood Park, helping move Millwall up to fifth place in the Championship following an impressive run of 12 games unbeaten.
Conor Sammon - Derby County
Derby's Conor Sammon turned into the hero of Pride Park on Saturday night as he scored two goals to beat local rivals Birmingham City. Derby won the game 3-2 and piled more misery on Lee Clark's side in front of the Sky cameras.
Scott McDonald - Middlesbrough
Since being introduced back into the side by Tony Mowbray, McDonald has been a revelation. The Scot scored twice in a 3-0 victory over Huddersfield Town on Tuesday night, proving he is worthy of a place in the starting 11.
Troy Deeney - Watford
Deeney has been on fire for Watford recently, scoring in his last four outings against strong opposition. His goals have coincided with Watford's rise to eighth place in the league after an unbeaten run of six games.
