Kai Herdling has agreed a contract extension at Hoffenheim which keeps him with the Bundesliga club until 2016.
The 29-year-old forward, who is currently in third spell with Hoffenheim, has been in impressive form this season.
After netting two goals in 12 matches, head coach Markus Gisdol has been keen to keep the former Philadelphia Union loanee at the Rhein-Neckar Arena.
And with his contract set to expire at the end of this season, Herdling has now penned a new deal.
Herdling told the club's official website: "Hoffenheim is my club.
"I am very proud about the progress I have made recently and I will do my very best for the future success of the club no matter what."
