Juventus interest in right-back unclear after Del Neri's departure

Hoffenheim are waiting to see if Juventus are still interested in Andreas Beck after changing their manager. The Bundesliga club revealed earlier this month that Juve had made an approach for the 24-year-old right-back. However, Luigi Del Neri has since been sacked as boss and it remains to be seen who the new man will be and whether he is also keen on Beck. Hoffenheim general manager Ernst Tanner is hopeful the Germany international will stay at Rhein-Neckar-Arena, having established himself as a key member of the side. "Basically we will have to see what consequences the decisions at Juventus have for Andreas Beck," Tanner told Bild. "We have a contract with him and we have definitely tried our best to convince him his future is at Hoffenheim. "Andreas Beck is an important player of our team, we would be happy to see him remain at our club."
