France ace keen to stay in SPL

Mickael Antoine-Curier does not know where his long-term future lies with his loan spell at Hamilton due to end this month. The French striker has spent the first half of the season on loan at New Douglas Park from First Division outfit Dundee. The hard-working marksman has impressed for Hamilton bagging five league goals from just 12 starts. Accies boss Billy Reid has hinted at making the striker's move permanent, however, as things stand he is due to return to Dens Park. Antoine-Curier is happy at Hamilton and is keen to remain in the SPL in order to help further his career.

Three games left

"I am on loan until the start of January and there are just three games left so I am glad to help get another valuable win," said Antoine-Curier. "Billy has been talking to me about staying and I am planning to score more for Hamilton but I don't know what will happen. "It's not up to me where I play as I'm a Dundee player and we will have to wait and see where my future lies. If Dundee go up at the end of the season they have to give me another contract. "I just want to compete in the SPL. Things are going good at Hamilton. We have a great bunch of lads so I am happy here. "But I don't want to rush into things, I just want to do the best for myself at an important stage of my career. "I was happy in Dundee but the manager had a different opinion of me. I was top scorer for the last two seasons at Dens. "To be in the stand after that was disappointing especially after helping my country to the quarter-finals of the Gold Cup. "However, everything happens for a reason and I am playing regularly. A lot of people have been saying this or that club is interested in me but I just want to make a decision when the time is right."
