Slaven Bilic has admitted that he would be open to the prospect of joining a club side after Euro 2012.
The former West Ham defender is currently in charge of the Croatia national team, who he hopes to lead to next summer's European Championships.
He is, however, planning for life after that tournament, with a change of scenery a distinct possibility.
Bilic will have spent six years at the helm of his homeland by the end of Euro 2012, and he feels it may be time for a fresh start.
The 42-year-old is keen to experience life in club management and has revealed that he would be willing to consider offers from England, Germany and France.
"My ambition is to manage a team on a daily basis," Bilic said in
L'Equipe.
Responsibility
"I took the Croatia job in 2006. I love my players, but six years is a long time. Coaching a national side is a huge responsibility."
Pressed on where he could end up, Bilic added: "Coaching in France? Why not.
"Unlike in England and Spain where the same sides are always at the top, the ones that make the best decisions do well in France. Look at Lille and Montpellier.
"The problem is I can understand French, but I don't speak it very well. I could always learn.
"England and Germany would probably be better for me because I already know the language."
