Serie A side bring back their striker a year after he left the club

Genoa have re-signed striker Giuseppe Sculli from Lazio for an undisclosed fee. The 30-year-old had been tipped to leave the Stadio Olimpico this month despite having made 11 appearances for Lazio this term. Sculli makes a return to Genoa just a year after being sold for a fee that was reported to have been 3million euros. A statement from the club read: "Beppe Sculli returns to Genoa, where he played from 2006 until 2011. "He has strongly wanted this move and the agreement between the clubs has been reached." Sculli is the second striker to arrive at Genoa this month with the Liguria club having previously acquired Alberto Gilardino from Fiorentina.
