Argentine defender still hoping for Roma move
Nicolas Burdisso is no closer to knowing where his future lies, with Roma and Inter Milan locked in talks.
The Argentine defender has made it clear that he would favour a move to the Italian capital, having slipped down the pecking order at Giuseppe Meazza.
He spent the whole of the 2009/10 campaign on loan at Stadio Olimpico and thoroughly enjoyed his time with the Giallorossi.
Burdisso feels his career would be better served at Roma, as a number of assured displays for the club last season saw him earn a place in Argentina's World Cup squad.
He is, however, uncertain as to where he will start the 2010/11 campaign as a potential summer switch remains some way off.
Decision
For now, he must bide his time and hope that Roma can reach an agreement with Inter in time for the start of the new season.
"I have no more news," Burdisso's agent, Fernando Hidalgo, told
calciomercato.it.
"It's up to the clubs to find an agreement.
"They only have to tell us their decision. They have known for months what we want."
