Meanwhile, Wigan defender Andreas Granqvist has spoken of his delight at his form this season.
The Swedish international, who missed last weekend's defeat to Liverpool, has impressed so far this campaign at the heart of Wigan's defence and he is delighted at how things are going.
"The season has been okay, quite good actually," Granqvist told Expressen.
"I like to be a leader and try to be that in the Premier League."
