Striker relishing challenge following arrival from Roma

Mirko Vucinic has insisted he is happy to play anywhere for Juventus as he looks to make an impact for his new club after joining from Roma. The Montenegro international completed his 15million euros (£13.1m) switch to Juve on Monday, signing a four-year deal with the Turin giants. He is relishing the challenge ahead and believes his versatility in the attacking positions will be of benefit to head coach Antonio Conte. Speaking to Juve's official website, Vucinic said: "I am excited and happy to be at Juve. Roma will always be in my heart, but that chapter is now closed. I am happy to join Juventus. "I can play as first or second striker, or on the wing. Whichever role, I'm happy to play in it. "And if Conte finds me a fourth position, I'm at his disposal."

One of the best

Vucinic becomes the first Montenegrin to represent Juventus, and current Montenegro Football Federation president and former AC Milan forward Dejan Savicevic believes the transfer will be a significant boost to the Old Lady's fortunes after a disappointing seventh-placed finish last season. "Juventus have done well to take Vucinic. He's a great signing," Savicevic told Tuttosport. "With him, the Bianconeri can get back to winning ways. He's a great player, one of the best five or six strikers in the world." Vucinic was grateful to receive such high praise from Savicevic, adding: "He says I'm one of the five strongest strikers in the world? He always exaggerates, but the words of a champion like him can only bring pleasure so I thank him."
