Swansea City defender Dwight Tiendalli has joined Middlesbrough on loan for the rest of the season.
The Dutch international, who has made six appearances for the Swans this season, joins Boro with the club just one point off the top of the Championship with seven games to play.
Tiendalli, who arrived at the Liberty on a free transfer in 2012, links up with Aitor Karanka's side ahead of their clash with third from bottom Wigan on Friday night.
The 29-year-old becomes Boro's second signing this week after Karanka bolstered his defence with the loan capture of Fulham centre-back Fernando Amorebieta.
