Tony Pulis has confirmed West Bromwich Albion have had one bid rejected for Wigan midfielder Callum McManaman.
Albion are believed to have bid around £3m for the former England U21 international but his Championship club want closer to double that amount.
The Hawthorns boss added that any decision to follow up that offer for the 23-year-old would be down to the board.
Pulis also said bids were in for up to four players in an attempt to add to his squad ahead of the February 2, 11pm transfer deadline.
"We've had three or four bids for different players that have gone in," said the Baggies boss.
"We will wait and see what the clubs want and take a view. Not just him (McManaman), there are three or four other people.
"Then we will take a view on what's value for money. Some clubs are negotiating, some haven't got back to us."
