Kris Boyd wants to find a club in England after being released by Portland Timbers.

The former Rangers, Middlesbrough and Nottingham Forest player scored just seven times last season and went five months without a goal at the end of the campaign.

Boyd's poor form led to his release from MLS side Portland and he is now setting his sights on a return to England.

"The hunger and drive is still there," Boyd, who has recently been training with Rangers, told Sky Sports News.

"I have a bit of unfinished business and hopefully I can go back there."
