United boss rules out any late moves in or out

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has ruled out making any more signings before the close of the transfer window. Ferguson has brought in five new faces this summer in the shape of Robin van Persie, Shinji Kagawa, Nick Powell, Alexander Buttner and Angelo Henriquez. United have been linked with several other names, but Ferguson insists he will not be making any late forays into the transfer market before the window closes next Friday. Ferguson also revealed there was no movement on any players possibly leaving Old Trafford before next week. "We definitely won't be buying anyone else," said Ferguson. "There is no movement about anyone going the other way." "There is only a few days left now until the deadline and that will pass quite quickly I would imagine."

Henriquez praise

Ferguson is looking forward to adding Chilean striker Henriquez to his ranks after tracking the teenager for several years. "Henriquez is on his way back to Manchester," added Ferguson. "He had to go back to Chile. "He came over when he was 15 and 16. We kept in close contact with him and, when he got to 18, it was a matter of whether or not we left him for another year or decided to get him in. But he had such a good summer, that we decided to bring him in."
