Amex Stadium boss remains calm in transfer window

Brighton manager Gus Poyet is refusing to panic amid speculation that Swansea and Norwich have made approaches for Liam Bridcutt. The 22-year-old midfielder has been linked with a move away from the Amex Stadium but Poyet described the reports as nothing more than "rumours". Lewis Dunk was linked with a move away from the Championship club at the end of 2011 and Brighton's manager knows it is simply transfer talk. Speaking to the club's official website, Poyet said: "The only way I know about this speculation about Liam Bridcutt is because my son told me. "He likes to read things [on the internet] and he told me, but there is nothing there, though. There were rumours about Dunky in December and now it's Liam. "There is nothing we can do about that, but, at the same time, we will not panic. We'll remain calm and deal with it in the most professional manner."
