Ivorian forward would be willing to make Parkhead switch

Boubacar Sanogo admits he would be interested in talking to Celtic should they make their move during the January transfer window. Reports in France suggest the Ivorian forward is currently taking in a trial spell at Auxerre, but there are numerous other clubs reported to be keen. Olympiakos are among those believed to be heading the chase, while Celtic have emerged as leading candidates for his signature. Sanogo would be willing to make a move to Scotland, but he claims he has received no contact from the Old Firm giants as yet. "Celtic is a very good club," he told skysports.com. "I might be interested if they really want me, but nothing is concrete so far. "I love their fans."

No pain

Sanogo has struggled with knee problems in the recent past, but he says those troubles are behind him and he is looking forward to kick-starting his career. "I am training very well," he added. "There is no pain in my knee or ankle. "Hopefully I will be injury free this season and I can do what I do best - score goals."
