Sky Sports understands that a host of clubs from Scotland and England are ready to move for Hearts striker John Sutton, after the club told him he could leave.
Sutton is understood to be one of the club's highest earners after they won the race for his signature in the summer, signing him from Motherwell.
But Sky Sports understands that due to their current financial predicament, which has seen them struggling to pay wages, they have now told Sutton to find a club to join on loan.
Hearts are ready to let him join a rival SPL side, and it is believed five teams in Scotland would like to take him.
But there is also interest in the Championship and League One for the 28-year-old, who could seal his move away from Tynecastle within days.
