Huddersfield boss again insists star striker is not for sale

Huddersfield boss Lee Clark has again insisted that star striker Jordan Rhodes will not be sold in the January transfer window. The in-form forward bagged his 21st goal of the season in the 1-1 draw with Carlisle on Friday and will be in the starting line-up against Notts County on Tuesday after recovering from a slight foot injury. West Ham have already tested the water with an approach to the Terriers, only to be met with a firm rebuttal from the League One club. Rhodes is regarded as crucial to Huddersfield's hopes of clambering back into the Championship, with his form this season having seen him earn international recognition with Scotland. The Galpharm Stadium club are likely to have their resolve tested further during the January transfer window, but Clark's determination to keep his key man has not wavered. He said: "The situation is simple - he is our player and that's the way it is going to stay. "Jordan will be here for the rest of the season."
