Partick Thistle has signed veteran Falkirk defender Jackie McNamara on a month's loan.
The 36-year-old Glaswegian is wanted on Partick's coaching staff, however, he is staying a player for now.
McNamara has only returned to playing for a month and will now spend the next four weeks with Partick.
Jags manager Ian McCall is thrilled to have someone of McNamara's calibre at his disposal.
He has confirmed he is keen for McNamara to join the club's coaching staff for next season.
Long-term target
"Jackie is a player that I have been after for some time," McCall told the club's official website.
"I hope he will be here next season in a player/coach capacity, he will in the meantime be concentrating solely on playing.
"He naturally goes straight into the squad for tomorrow's game at Dundee."
