Real Madrid presented new signing Lucas Silva to hundreds fans at the Bernabeu after his move from Cruzeiro.
The 21-year-old midfielder passed a medical with the La Liga leaders early on Monday and signed a contract until June 2020.
Silva, who is yet to represent Brazil, said: "I felt butterflies in my stomach as I stepped on the field.
"I stood in front of all the titles, the cups won, and felt emotional."
Silva could make his debut on Saturday against Real Sociedad, with Cristiano Ronaldo suspended following his sending off at Cordoba on Saturday.
At Silva's presentation press conference, club director Emilio Butragueno said he was aware that FIFA had asked the Spanish football federation for official documents relating to the transfers of minors to Madrid over the past five years.
Butragueno said, "We are in agreement with FIFA in this matter," adding that Madrid were calm and collaborating.
