Bastia have signed Anderlecht captain Guillaume Gillet on a season-long loan with a view to a permanent transfer.
The 30-year-old right-back has won four Belgian titles in his six seasons with the Brussels club but has now switched the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium for Corsica ahead of the 2014-15 Ligue 1 campaign.
A statement published through Bastia's official Twitter account on Wednesday confirmed the deal, which gives the club the right to purchase Gillet should his spell working under coach Claude Makelele prove to be successful.
