Striker says United will play to win in Switzerland

Javier Hernandez insists Manchester United will not play for a draw in their final UEFA Champions League group match against Basel. A draw against Benfica on Tuesday night means United need a point to qualify for the knockout stage of the tournament, although Basel can advance with a victory. Benfica have already ensured their safe passage from Group C, and Mexican Hernandez claims United will try for the win in Switzerland. "We will go to Basel to win the game," Chicharito told MUTV. "We have lost two home points against Benfica but this is football. Benfica are a strong team, unbeaten this season, and they played very well against us. "We are still in the fight, we have nine points and we will go to Switzerland to get another three. "We are Manchester United and we never give up, we work very hard for every game." United had been leading 2-1 at Old Trafford against Benfica but the Portuguese side equalised immediately to secure a 2-2 stalemate at Old Trafford.
