Slovenians are gunning for Capello's men

Coach Matjaz Kek insists Slovenia have the belief to beat England and dump them out of the World Cup. The Three Lions must win against surprise Group C leaders Slovenia on Wednesday to be sure of reaching the second round. Kek's men beat Algeria 1-0 in their opening game before drawing 2-2 with the USA, while England have stuttered to disappointing draws against the same two sides. But rather than settling for the draw they need to book their place in the last 16, Kek insists his side will be determined to go through in style. "The most important thing for such a small country as Slovenia is belief," he told The Sun. "You must believe you can achieve, then you have a chance. That goes for any team and my team believe they can beat anyone. "I'm not thinking 'OK, we came to South Africa but we're small and we must try to avoid catastrophe'. "It is more 'can I win against every team?' That is my objective." Capello has come under much criticism for his tactics and team selection so far in South Africa. But Kek feels that is all part and parcel of being England boss and believes the nation's expectations should be high given the quality of their squad.

Pressure

"Every day in England there is pressure when you play at such a high level," he added. "Wayne Rooney is one of the best players in the world and I do believe England have the team to win the World Cup, I really do. "For me, success is to reach the second round, but for England success is winning the tournament. "With great emotion, motivation and with very hard work as a team, anything is possible."
