Jamaica coach John Barnes admits he is keen to try his hand at club management once again.
Former England international Barnes took charge of Jamaica - where he was born - in November.
But Barnes admits that he is still thinking about returning to club management.
His only previous experiences at club level came during an ill-fated spell at Celtic some nine years ago.
"The reality of the situation is that I am with Jamaica until June, hopefully if we win matches, but the reality of the situation is that if something comes up then I would have to examine it definitely," he told
Sky Sports News.
Barnes admits the recent sacking by Chelsea of Luiz Felipe Scolari shows how fickle things can be at club level.
"The worry is that someone like Scolari can be sacked after four to five months, so if someone like him isn't given enough time what chance does a first-time, inexperienced manager have," he said.
Barnes is currently concentrating on his duties with Jamaica as he prepares his side for a friendly with Nigeria on Wednesday at Millwall.
But he admits sometimes expectation levels on the Reggae Boyz, who cannot qualify for the 2010 World Cup, is too high.
"People in Jamaica expect us to win the World Cup because Usain Bolt is the fastest man in the world, and now the West Indies have also beaten England - but we have to be realistic we are 65th in the world but I have confidence in what we can do," he added.
