Samba Boys skipper expecting tough test at Emirates

Brazil captain Gilberto Silva is not expecting an easy ride when he leads out his country against Sweden at The Emirates. Although the 31-year-old is well down Arsenal's pecking order, he is very much in favour under Dunga and has been entrusted to look after the squad's younger players. Gilberto will be on familiar territory for Wednesday's friendly at The Emirates and he is hoping the world's most famous team can put on a show for the public. The former Atletico Mineiro midfielder has stated the Samba Boys are not light years ahead of other countries and that Sweden will not just be making up the numbers.

Enjoyment

"Whenever Brazil play in England or anywhere else we just want to enjoy our matches," he told Sky Sports News. "To be honest we don't know about a gap between us and some other teams and what the people think about it. "This is an important game for us. We know it's a friendly game. But always in friendly game no matter what team we play it's hard. "Sweden will be a difficult game, but we need to enjoy it. In the squad there's a lot of young players. They might have a chance to show what they can do."
