England claimed the Sky Sports Victory Shield again after a 2-1 win over Scotland at Falkirk.
Jonjo Shelvy and Jose Baxter scored the goals for England before Kal Naismith pulled one back for Scotland with a penalty, only to then miss an injury-time spot-kick.
Scotland were on top in the first period, with Maxwell Wright firing wide from the edge of the box before Liam Head drew a one-handed stop out of Connor Fairley at the opposite end.
The hosts started to work England keeper Jed Steer, with James Keatings twice denied by smart stops.
England, with FA director of football development Sir Trevor Brooking in the stands, took the lead two minutes before half-time when Baxter played a clever ball in for Shelvy to finish emphatically beyond Fairley.
The Scottish shot-stopper saved well with his legs from Ibra Sekajja in the second half before England went further ahead on 68 minutes.
Lateef Elford-Alliyu was pulled back by Scott Smith in the box and Baxter confidently dispatched the penalty.
Scotland responded almost immediately as Naismith, brought on after England's second goal, scored from the spot after being felled by Steer.
Elford-Alliyu then hit the post for England after rounding Fairley before Steer saved Naismith's spot-kick after the keeper had conceded another penalty.
