Striker set to miss Spain clash

Theofanis Gekas looks set to miss Greece's final group game after suffering a broken cheekbone. The 28-year-old striker came on as a substitute in the 1-0 defeat to Russia on Saturday that eliminated Greece from Euro 2008. He picked up the problem before the end but played on as Greece pursued an equaliser. With Greece unable to catch any of the other three sides in Group D, Otto Rehhagel is unlikely to risk Gekas against Spain on Wednesday. Full-backs Vassilis Torosidis and Giourkas Seitaridis are also doubtful after sitting out training with groin problems.
