Italy coach Roberto Donadoni has stated that as things stand veteran striker Alessandro Del Piero will make his Euro 2008 squad.
Whether the experienced striker would make Donadoni's final 23-man squad has been hotly debated recently, mainly due to his impressive 18 Serie A goals this season.
Donadoni has now conceded the 33-year-old is likely to make the cut as he knows the experienced campaigner is unlikely to throw any toys out of the pram should he fail to play this summer.
"Ten months ago no but now yes," said Donadoni on Del Piero's inclusion.
"The facts speak for themselves but I'll only talk about my squad when the time is right. It seems that many people want to create problems for me.
"There's one thing I'm already certain about, with players such as Del Piero and others, whatever choices I make, they won't cause a fuss."
