A host of Premier League clubs are tracking highly-rated Maribor duo Petar Stojanovic and Luka Zahovic, Sky Sports understands.
Scouts from several Premier League sides are set to watch the highly-rated teenagers at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday when Maribor take on Chelsea in the Champions League.
Slovenian champions Maribor turned down several approaches and a ‘seven-figure’ offer from Serie A clubs during the Summer window for right back Stojanovic, who turned 19 earlier this month, and recent performances against the likes of Celtic and Sporting Lisbon have seen numerous top Premier League clubs added to his potential list of suitors.
Meanwhile, 18-year-old striker Luka Zahovic, son of Maribor Sporting Director Zlatko, rose to prominence this season with his last-minute equaliser against Sporting Lisbon.
Zahovic is the club’s top scorer this season scoring eight goals in 10 games in the Slovenian Premier League this season.
Maribor are bracing themselves for offers for the talented pair and should the duo impress against Chelsea their Premier League suitors are expected to step up their interest in their services.
