Willem II extend sponsorship deal

WILLEM II have extended their kit sponsorship deal with insurance company Interpolis, with the Tilburg-based club wearing the company's name on their jerseys for another two seasons.

The Dutch Eredivisie club will receive ‚é¼1.18 million per season for the deal, with Interpolis continuing their association at the Willem II Stadion since first signing in 1998.

Meanwhile, Willem II are planning not to make any major summer moves but are on the lookout for a new striker.

The Tilburg side have yet to receive an offer for Dutch international midfielder Denny Landzaat but Belgian World Cup goalkeeper Geert de Vlieger has attracted the interest of Jupiler League outfit Standard Liege.

However, their bid for the Belgian number one was not enough for Willem II to accept.
