Boussaboun knock for NAC

NAC Breda have suffered an injury blow to nine-goal top scorer Ali Boussaboun.

NAC Breda have suffered an injury blow to nine-goal top scorer Ali Boussaboun.

The striker has had to leave the club's training camp in Portugal after sustaining the injury in a friendly game against Cologne.

The Moroccan ace had to leave the field after just half an hour and it was revealed that a piece of bone had broken loose from his ankle.

It is unknown as of yet how long Boussaboun will face in recovery, although a further diagnosis is expected this week.

NAC boss Ton Lokhoff has already had to send Ronnie Stam back to Holland to recuperate after the midfielder picked up an Achilles tendon problem, and Lokhoff will no doubt be dismayed at how the winter break has unfolded so far.
