Anderlecht eye MVV keeper

MVV keeper Danny Wintjes has admitted he is flattered by press reports linking him with a move to Belgian titans Anderlecht.

The Constant Vanden Stock outfit are seeking a replacement for Filip de Wilde, who looks set to move on after contract negotiations failed to bear fruit.

Anderlecht are reported to have highlighted highly-rated teenager Wintjes as a potential summer recruit.

The youngster has admitted he is honoured to be linked with a move to Anderlecht.

"It's a great honour when a club like Anderlecht appears to be following you," the keeper told Dagblad De Limburger.

Anderlecht have also been credited with an interest in NAC Breda striker Orlando Engelaar.

The Breda star was linked with a move to Genk last week and it seems that his future could lie in Belgium.
