Yildirim injury confirmed

Ugur Yildirim will play no part in the Dutch play-offs for Heerenveen and it is being claimed he has played his last game for the club.

The 24-year-old damaged a knee against Feyenoord at the weekend and has been told that he will require a month on the sidelines.

Such a scenario is likely to spell the end of Yildirim's Heerenveen career as he is keen to head to Turkey.

He is hopeful the Frisians will help him secure a move, but is aware they could force him to see out his contract.

"My contract runs until 2010," he told Voetbal International. "So if the club do not cooperate I will have to accept it."
