Injury worry for Waterman

Heerenveen are anxiously awaiting news on keeper Boy Waterman's knee.

Heerenveen are anxiously awaiting news on keeper Boy Waterman's knee injury.

The 21-year-old has been ruled out of the Uefa Cup clash with Marseille after damaging his knee against Sparta at the weekend.

Tests are set to be carried out on Waterman's knee, with the club hopeful the setback is only minor.

Waterman picked up a right knee injury last year which sidelined him for some time and will hope he has not suffered a recurrence.

Paul Bosvelt and Abdelkarim Kissi are nursing knocks and will have to prove their fitness ahead of the meeting with the French outfit.
