Heerenveen climbed into sixth position with a 2-0 victory at ADO Den Haag.
Heerenveen climbed above Utrecht and Twente Enschede in De Eredivisie with a good 2-0 away victory at ADO Den Haag.The visitors secured the victory with a first half goal from attacking midfielder Mika Vayrynen, before Arnold Bruggink put the match beyond doubt with a second half penalty.
The highly rated Finnish ace (pictured) opened the scoring after just four minutes as Heerenveen started brightly at Zuiderpark.
However they only settled their nerves with a quarter of an hour to go as Bruggink dispatched the spot kick.
The defeat leaves ADO languishing in fourteenth place in the Dutch top flight.
