FC Twente goalkeeper Nick Marsman has signed a one-year contract extension with the Eredivisie club.

The new deal will keep the 22-year-old, who played on loan at Go Ahead Eagles last season, at FC Twente until the summer of 2015.

Marsman told the club's official website: "I'm obviously very happy with the renewal of my contract. It just shows that it can quickly go.

"Last year I was able to gain experience in the Jupiler League and with Go Ahead Eagles now I get that chance in the Eredivisie with the first team of FC Twente. I look forward to this season."

Twente technical manager Cees Lok added: "We are delighted that we have extended the contract with Nick. He is a talented goalkeeper from our own academy and has gained a lot of experience last year at Go Ahead Eagles.
