Takak snubs De Graafschap

Jasar Takak has rejected the chance to join De Graafschap.

Jasar Takak has rejected the chance to join De Graafschap, with the club suggesting the PSV Eindhoven starlet has opted to take his opportunity elsewhere.

De Graafschap are seeking reinforcements and had set their sights on Takak.

The midfielder, who is in the long term plans of PSV coach Guus Hiddink, was allowed to talk to De Graafschap.

The talks failed to bear fruit, however, as De Graafschap general director Johan Tukker has suggested that the player has agreed to take another offer.

It is not yet clear where the youngster will end up, but media reports suggest he could head for RKC Waalwijk.

NEC Nijmegen midfielder Jarda Simr has also been linked with a move to De Graafschap, but the club are refusing to comment on the rumours.
