Kwame stays at Heracles

Heracles have been successful in persuading Kwame Quansah to remain at the club.

Heracles Almelo have been successful in persuading loan star Kwame Quansah to remain at the club.

The forward has been on loan at Heracles for the last two seasons, having been deemed surplus to requirements by Ajax.

With Ajax informing the striker he had no future at the Amsterdam ArenA, Heracles came forward with the offer of a permanent contract.

Quansah was quick to agree terms and is now committed to Heracles until the summer of 2007.

Promoted Excelsior have added to their ranks with the loan capture of Sebastiaan Steur from Heerenveen.

The Frisian club feel the 22-year-old will benefit from regular playing time and have agreed to Excelsior's request to take him on loan.
