RKC Waalwijk enjoyed success against De Graafschap to pour more woe on the relegation candidates, while Excelsior earned a welcome win. Krisztian Nemeth scored the only goal of the game to give RKC Waalwijk a 1-0 victory over struggling De Graafschap. Nemeth struck 12 minutes from time to settle the contest at the Mandemakers Stadion and drop the visitors to the foot of the table. Excelsior's win over Roda JC saw them swap places with De Graafschap, who are now 11 points adrift of safety. Struggling Excelsior earned a dramatic win over Roda JC as both sides scored in stoppage time at the end of the game.

Boost

The win was a welcome boost for the home side who remain in the Eredivisie bottom two despite this win over their mid-table opponents. Rangelo Janga had given Excelsior the lead after five minutes and the score remained like that until stoppage time. An own goal from Jagos Vukovic extended the lead two minutes into stoppage time before Sanharib Malki netted what proved to be a consolation goal. NEC Nijmegen are unbeaten in three after securing a 2-0 win at VVV-Venlo to lift them to 10th in the standings. Leroy George netted the visitors' opener seven minutes before half-time and Lasse Schone added another in the second half to complete the triumph.
