Ajax's Argentine forward Dario Cvitanich is desperate to end his unsuccessful time in Holland and move back to South America.
The 25-year-old has failed to make an impact at the Amsterdam Arena since arriving from Buenos Aires-based outfit Banfield in a €6.5million (£5.8m) in the summer of 2008.
Ajax boss Martin Jol, who took over in May, has mainly used Cvitanich as a substitute and the attacker wants his future to be decided in the January transfer window.
"I desperately want to return to Argentina. I want regular first-team football and that won't be happening at Ajax any time soon." he is quoted as telling Radio del Plata.
"I'm only thinking about playing first-team football again. However, I'll have to wait and see what happens in the upcoming transfer window."
