Keeper to stay with Dutch champions until summer of 2012

Australian goalkeeper Joey Didulica has extended his contract at Dutch champions AZ Alkmaar. The 31-year-old had just one year left on his deal at the club but has now signed an extension to stay until the summer of 2012. After arriving from Austria Wien in the summer of 2006, Didulica is seen as a reliable stand-in for Argentinean keeper Sergio Romero. He told the club's official website: "I had one year left on my deal and really thought about leaving AZ for another club. "But I am very happy to stay another three years at AZ."
