NAC Breda have rewarded midfielder Ronnie Stam for his impact this season with a new contract.
Stam started the campaign on the bench, but has forced his way into the starting line-up on a regular basis.
He has now signed a deal to stay with the club until 2012 and is happy to commit his future to NAC, despite revealing interest from other clubs.
"It all went very fast," Stam told the club's official website. "I'm pleased about that.
"Last season I did well, but now I'm in my best position I can really show what I am capable of.
"I think that NAC have acted so quickly because several clubs have already showed interest."
