Hazards started their careers at the same club in Belgium

Eden Hazard admits he is delighted to be joined at Chelsea by his brother Thorgan and is looking forward to playing alongside him - for the first time ever. Both players started their careers at Tubize in their native Belgium but never turned out on the same side before the pair moved to France, albeit for different clubs. The 21-year-old Eden shot to fame playing for Lille before his move to west London, while 19-year-old Thorgan was playing in the French second division for Lens. And now the two have been reunited at Chelsea Eden is looking forward to the day they walk out onto the same pitch together for club or country. "Despite both of us having been at Tubize, we have never played in the same team," he told the club's official website. "So I hope I can play soon alongside my brother in the national team and also for Chelsea. "My brother is not the same as me because he is not someone who dribbles a lot. He is more someone who has a passing game in midfield. "He can play on the wings also but his best position is in central midfield, a number 10."

Younger brothers

Family meals in the Hazard house could be made all the more interesting in years to come as Eden revealed there are two more coming through the ranks of youth football in Kylian and Ethan. And with their father being a former professional footballer and their mother playing too, the Hazards could spend evenings debating their careers in years to come. Eden explained: "One plays in the youth team at Lille and the other plays in Belgium, but he is still very young, he is enjoying football for the first time so we shall see. "We will see at the end of our careers who has won the most trophies."
