Hertha confirm Ramos interest

Hertha Berlin general manager Michael Preetz has revealed the club are keen on Gustavo Adrian Ramos.

Capital club tracking Colombian ace

Hertha Berlin general manager Michael Preetz has revealed the club are keen on Gustavo Adrian Ramos. The Bundesliga outfit are looking to bolster their attacking options before the transfer window closes and have identified the America de Cali ace as a prime target. Colombian international Ramos is highly regarded in his homeland and has been tipped to make a move to Europe sooner rather than later. "Gustavo Adrian Ramos is one of the players we are looking at, of course," Preetz told Kicker-Sportmagazin. Reports in Germany also suggest that Hertha are tracking Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink, with the Dutchman available as a free agent following his release by Celtic. The capital giants are still keen on Liverpool's Andriy Voronin as well, following an impressive loan spell last season, but the Reds' asking price may be too high for an agreement to be reached.
