Midfielder struggling for fitness as transfer saga continues

Stuttgart head coach Bruno Labbadia admits he is fed up of the transfer saga concerning midfielder Christian Trasch and his potential move to Bundesliga rivals Wolfsburg. Labbadia claims the 23-year-old needs to spend his time focusing on the team and work harder in order to retain his place in the starting XI. The Germany international, whose contract runs out next year, is on the brink of a move to the Wolves, but a move has so far stalled because both clubs have failed to reach an agreement. Bayer Leverkusen have also shown an interest in the player, but Labbadia told BILD: "You can see that he is lacking some bite. "The whole affair is on his mind, which is not good for him. Other players in the game can deal with situations like this well, but there are other that don't "Trasch needs to add power and fitness to his level of performances. It's still about roles in the first team and I must consider whether he is ready to the first match of the new season."
