Landzaat invites offers

WILLEM II midfielder Denny Landzaat has remained coy over media reports linking him with a transfer to Hamburg, but has admitted that he would relish a move abroad.

The Dutch international, a product of the famous Ajax youth system, has been in fine form for Willem this season, bagging 15 goals in 29 games from midfield, but is unhappy at the club's inability to move above mid-table anonymity.

"I have heard of a concrete offer from HSV. But the urge to move abroad is growing," revealed Landzaat.

"If HSV have an interest they must show it soon."

An attacking midfielder, Landzaat has attracted the interest of Rangers in the past and the news that the 25-year-old wants to ply his trade abroad will alert a number of watching clubs.
