Hertha Berlin are being linked with summer moves for former players Sejad Salihovic of Hoffenheim and Fortuna Dusseldorf's Assani Lukimya-Mulongoti.

Both players are out of contract in the summer at their respective club's and the capital outfit are understood to want to bring both back to the Olympic Stadium.

Lukimya-Mulongoti has been a regular for Fortuna in the second tier of German football this season and has attracted the attention of Bayer Leverkusen.

Salihovic has started 13 Bundesliga games for Hoffenheim this season, netting five times.

"We are well aware of both players," Hertha Berlin general manager Michael Preetz told German newspaper Berliner Zeitung.

"Assani and Segad had a spell with Hertha Berlin in the past. Both players have made great development in the meantime. Both are very good players."
